Each region of the world has its own traditional houses. One of them is the yurt, which was and still is the quintessential dwelling of the nomadic peoples of the Central Asian steppes.

It's a modular, round, and transportable dwelling. It's made of a wooden frame covered in wool felt. Because it can be relocated—assembled and disassembled in about three hours—it was the perfect type of housing for a nomadic lifestyle.
